The pandemic sparked a remote work revolution, and offsite workers now account for nearly a third of the global knowledge workforce*. This is almost double the pre-pandemic numbers. The swift increase in remote workers has transformed industries and businesses. It has also outpaced employment regulations and revealed gaps in the legal requirements of some countries and governments.
It’s this gap between the remote work revolution and employment regulations where GEIO can make a difference. We serve as a forum where companies involved in global employment services can connect to exchange ideas and share best practices, with the goal of helping to shape the future of global employment services.
Who We Are
GEIO is the Global Employment Innovation Organization: a nonprofit trade association transforming the global employment ecosystem.

Our Founders
Our founding members include some of the leading and established companies in the global employment services industry. These three organizations have already begun to navigate many of the industry-facing issues, and now want to elevate the entire industry.
