Adrienne Drew is an attorney with more than 15 years of experience providing legal counsel to entrepreneurs, start-ups, and global employers. As G-P’s Associate General Counsel, Adrienne has been instrumental in the company’s exponential growth. This includes developing and launching the company’s commercial and privacy practices, expanding the footprint to 100+ global entities, managing global employment and compliance risk, and opening new service lines in more than a dozen countries. She currently drives strategic corporate development initiatives, leads the company’s product counsel, and is a Co-Founder and current Chair of the Global Employment Innovation Organization (GEIO), an EOR industry association. Adrienne lives in San Diego with her family.

Mario holds an MBA from HEC Paris and also has previous experience performing a variety of business roles in strategy, operations and product management. Mario is originally from Mexico City and currently lives in Berlin with his family.

Nick Catino

Nick Catino is the Global Head of Policy at Deel, where he leads government engagement, regulatory affairs, and the company’s corporate social impact and environmental sustainability efforts. He also launched Deel’s Advisory Board on the Future of Work, an industry-first initiative that includes former U.S. Secretaries of Labor Elaine Chao and Seth Harris and former U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp.
Before Deel, Nick led global government affairs, environmental sustainability, and social impact at Wise, a global payments technology company. He co-founded the Financial Technology Association, a Washington, DC-based fintech trade association. He has also contributed to international policy efforts through advisory working groups with the World Bank, United Nations, and Finance Canada.
Earlier, Nick spent a decade working for members of Congress, including as Staff Director of the U.S. Senate Banking Subcommittee on International Finance. In that role, he was a lead negotiator for the first major banking legislation in a decade and shaped numerous regulatory actions. He began his career in journalism and speaks frequently on the intersection of labor, finance, technology, and policy.

In addition to leading on compliance, Farah’s team advises on marketing and communications strategies, and drafts and negotiates partnerships and vendor agreements. She is licensed to practice law in Virginia, USA, and currently resides in Amman, Jordan, with her husband and their four children.

Caroline Esser is Associate General Counsel, Product & Employment, at Rippling. She serves as a legal adviser and strategic business partner to Rippling’s Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and Employer of Record (EOR) product teams. She is helping to support Rippling’s global expansion, including by advising the EOR team on how to compliantly launch EOR services in new countries and employ people around the world. She serves on the Legal Advisory Council of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO), as well as on the Government Relations Committee and Core Principles/Best Practices Committee of the Global Employment Innovation Organization (GEIO).
Before joining Rippling, Caroline was a senior litigation associate at Latham & Watkins in San Francisco, representing public and private companies in copyright, antitrust, and complex commercial litigation matters. She also completed a secondment as product counsel at Instagram where she advised the Integrity product teams on features and launches raising a wide variety of legal issues, including data protection and privacy, consumer protection, competition, and platform liability.

Aubrie Ekman, based in Spain, holds the position of Deputy General Counsel at Pebl. She followed a four-year tenure as in-house counsel at JLT Specialty, a formerly prominent international insurance broker purchased by Marsh & McLennan. In her current role, Aubrie is instrumental in navigating the complex legal landscape of global employer of record business operations. She engages with stakeholders across the organization to assist a diverse range of clients and employees worldwide. Her work is centered around redefining the concept of the global workforce to empower borderless hiring capabilities.
